Who Has It Easier?

Today, I went out with a friend of mine for lunch and we were having a discussion about dating. If you want to read about my personal experience, I talked more in detail about it here.  We talked about the difference between men versus women in wheelchairs when it comes to dating. In my opinion, men in wheelchairs are at an advantage when it comes to dating because men are traditionally the ones who are supposed to approach the women whether he has a disability or not. If a woman in a wheelchair approaches a man, he will be more likely to shy away from her.  Then again, maybe it has to do with lack of awareness about disabilities and able-bodied people who are unwilling to step out of their comfort zone.  Dating a person in a wheelchair has its challenges, but all relationships have challenges. What does everyone think?
