Wheelchair Repairs

The casters on my wheelchair have broken four times in the last year.  For the first three times, I took the wheelchair to a company that does wheelchair repairs and this last time I had the idea of taking the wheelchair to a local bike shop.  The guy who fixed the wheelchair at the bike shop knew exactly what was wrong and he fixed the wheelchair for significantly less than they charged at the wheelchair repair company and he did just as good a job as the guy who fixed my chair at the wheelchair repair company. He even fixed my Roho cushion. I would highly suggest that my disabled friends seek out a bike shop the next time they need repairs.
