Last week, I was talking to a little girl and she asked me questions like can you drive? What happened to you? Then she said does anyone ever come up to you and talk to you? Usually, I do not mind when a little kid asks me about my disability because they do not know any better, but when an adult asks me silly questions it makes me kind of uncomfortable. Every week when I see this woman, she asks me if I have been walking around because it is good for my circulation. I think adults should know better by now, but again she probably did not know how to ask about my disability. I have to say the funniest question I've ever been asked was did you get run over by a fire truck? I was in 5th grade and the little boy who asked me was in Kindergarten at the time.
I came across this video on YouTube and I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! What is the craziest question you have been asked about your disability?
the adults should be ashamed by their questions/comments
ReplyDeleteLike I said. People don't know how to ask the questions.
