Aspire To Inspire

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. Today, my dance company and I did our Aspire To Inspire workshop for the Gifted and Talented Program at Montclair State University.  Aspire to Inspire is a workshop designed to showcase disabled dancers and to show that anyone can dance regardless of physical ability.

A small group of kids and their parents participated in the workshop. One of the exercises we did with them was to spell out our names with our bodies and the kids really enjoyed that.  We also taught the kids a phrase of choreography.  It was a lot of fun to get the kids and the parents moving around.  Towards the end of the workshop, the dance company put on a performance with the material that we have been working on. We performed two solos and a group number.
