Facebook Friends
Today, I am thankful for Facebook. I love to connect with family and friends on there and it makes connecting with people that live far away and don't get to see very often so much easier. It's fun to what what people are up to and look at the pictures they post. People tend to think that Facebook friends are not your "real" friends. I think they are because they "like" things you post, they support you when you are happy and they comfort you when you are sad.

I'd have to agree with you. I think they are very much real friends. Especially when you are far from home in a different state and FB is your best (and quickest) method of contact with people you left behind. It's also nice to see pictures and updates on things you are missing so you don't feel so left out.
